Open Fire has been reigniting the scene in Northern Colorado. Playing original tunes and the best from groups such as Motley Crue, Tesla, Whitesnake, Cinderella, Slaughter, Iron Maiden, Warrant, Firehouse, Guns and Roses, and more Open Fire’s show is a thundering metalfest of professional sound, lights, fog, leather, and 80's rock attitude that will make you remember the days of big hair, Camaros, and MTV.
Rock anthems keep the fists pumping and “oh so sweet monster ballads” keep the dancers swaying - Open Fire plays 80’s metal the way you remember! Started by drummer Dave Klein formerly of Slick Machine, Open Fire also features the twin guitar attack of Fernando Escobar and Dave "Dmac" MacKenzie, bassist Jason Wetzel and Screamin Steve Clark on vocals.
We are fans AND musicians and we take pride in hitting our cues, note for note and recreating the magic of those great melodic hard rockin tunes of the era. When you see an Open Fire show you'll feel like you've been to a rock concert not a club.
It's great fun, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. We love this music and it shows in our performance night after night.
